¼ cup cocoa
1 cup of water
1 tablespoon of vanilla essence
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 cup caster sugar
¾ cup Heinz [Seriously] Good™ Mayonnaise
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Combine cocoa, hot water and vanilla essence in a pitcher and wait for them to cool.
Sift the flour, baking soda and sugar into a bowl and make a well in the centre.
Combine the HEINZ [SERIOUSLY] GOOD™ Mayonnaise with the cocoa mixture, then pour in the well of dry ingredients. Mix gently.
Pour the mixture into a well-buttered and lined 20 cm round cake tin.
Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until the cake is done. Cool in pan for 10 minutes before unmolding onto a cake rack.
Once cooled, frost with your favorite chocolate frosting and Easter decorations!
