Here’s how to do it:

  1. Cream the butter and sugar together until fluffy.
  2. Add eggs, apples, walnuts and vanilla. Mix well.
  3. Combine baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and flour. Stir to combine, then add to wet ingredients. Pour the batter into a round mold which was sprayed with non-stick spray.
  4. Bake in preheated 350 degree F oven for about 45 minutes. Remove from pan and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve hot with whipped cream.
