28 Oreos, cookie and filling separated

1 teaspoon baking powder

250ml milk

Frosting (optional, but desirable)

150ml very hot heavy cream

150g dark chocolate

Oreo crumbs, to garnish


  1. Separate the frosting and cookie parts of the 28 Oreos by setting the frosting aside in another bowl.

  2. Finely crush the biscuit portion then pour into a large mixing bowl. Add the baking powder and stir.

  3. Add the milk and Oreo filling to the bowl, continuing to stir until the mixture is smooth.

  4. Grease and line a microwave-safe tray or bowl and pour the mixture into it. Microwave on high power (750 W) for six minutes. Remove from microwave and place on a cooling rack.

  5. If you are making frosting, pour the hot heavy cream over the dark chocolate in a large mixing bowl.

  6. Stir slowly and gently until combined, resembling melted chocolate.

  7. Pour over cake as icing. Decorate the edges of the cake with Oreo crumbs for a little extra.

  8. Serve yourself !
